Celebrating the release of their second full-length album, ‘Bailiwick, Refused’, STBWLIH launch out on a full US tour starting in August 2017 which brings them to 7th Circle in Denver on September 13th. Luke Carr, Caitlin Brothers and Nathan Smerage will be performing as a guitar, harp and bass trio, unfolding dark, melodic motifs through thick vocal harmonies and bountiful rhythmic textures.

Southwick Howls (2015), the groups first album, introduced a narrative about an alternate reality that challenges the past 500+ years of historical events that have shaped the Western world, including the colonization of North America. Diving deeper into this world, ‘Bailiwick, Refused’ tells the story of Dessa, a young girl who grows up in a heavily politicized family in the crumbling city of Southwick. The new album follows her through her continual callings to leave; her childhood, her family, her time as a resistance fighter in the desolate Mudfields, her partner, and her child, all in the pursuit of a destiny to set free something, or someone, sacred.
